This is the privacy policy of one-two-one.be, the website of One Two One, the fractional email marketing and CRM practice of Jasper Van Laethem. Short version: this site collects little, only processes the data you actively send through the contact form or by email, and uses Google Analytics only when you accept it in the cookie banner.

2. What data is processed, and why

Contact form and email. When you use the contact form or mail hello@one-two-one.be, the following data is processed: your name, company name (optional), email address, and the content of your message. This data is used for one purpose only: reading your message and replying to it. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract, at your request) and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries).

Server logs. The hosting provider of this website may keep standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamp) for security and stability purposes. These logs are not used to identify visitors.

Analytics, only with your consent. This website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, where visits come from, and roughly from which region. It runs only after you accept it in the cookie banner; declining is one click and the whole site keeps working. When you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies (_ga and _ga_*, with a lifespan of up to 2 years) and processes a shortened version of your IP address. Provider: Google Ireland Ltd; data can be transferred to Google LLC in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw or change your choice at any time via the "Cookies" link in the footer of every page.

Nothing else. No advertising pixels, no other trackers. Fonts are hosted on this site's own server, so no visitor data flows to a font provider.

Your data is not sold and not shared for marketing purposes. The following service providers (processors) are involved in handling contact form submissions:

Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, this happens under appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. If you prefer not to use the form, you can always mail hello@one-two-one.be directly.

4. How long data is kept

Correspondence is kept as long as needed to handle your question and for reasonable business follow-up, at most 24 months after the last contact, unless a client relationship follows. In that case, data is kept for the duration of the engagement and any legal retention periods that apply (for example accounting legislation).

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, the right to restriction of processing, the right to data portability, and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest. To exercise any of these rights, mail hello@one-two-one.be. You will get a response within 30 days.

If you believe your data is handled incorrectly, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit), Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be.

Appropriate technical and organizational measures are in place to protect personal data, including transport encryption (HTTPS), access limited to Jasper Van Laethem, and two-factor authentication on the mailbox and systems where correspondence is stored.

7. Changes to this policy

This policy can be updated when the website or the services change. The date at the top of this page always shows the latest version. Substantial changes will be visible on this page; the site will never silently start tracking you.
